    No point doing 3 hours of study if you don't have 3 hours worth of things to study. Take it easy and do as much as you have to. Also, be consistent with your note taking and start your assessments early so you can fine tune them before you have to hand them in.

    Hmm, yeah. I might do some dot points for my prelims; memorising 3 essays and a creative piece probably isn't the most efficient way to study.

    In addition to English's subjective nature, it's also a cointoss because there is no possible way to prepare for all the variations in the questions you could be asked.

    Learning all the content in Business Studies really isn't that hard if you have a genuine interest in the subject.

    Not bad. I did 11 pages in 45 minutes (not including planning) with my kilometrico in an English essay a few weeks back.

    What exactly do your dotpoints contain? 1 technique per point? Also, do you have backup points in case the question greatly varies from some of your other points?

    Currently need to do: English study guide Refine english essays/creative writing SOR notes Finish geometry chapter Begin studying for maths exam Begin studying for prelims. I tried doing 6 hours of work a day and failed dismally, so I'm just spreading out three hours throughout the day.

    We just finished linear functions and we are self-teaching geometry over the holidays (2u).

    I write a draft generic question, keep making amendments until my teacher says its perfect, then rewrite it in exam conditions four times daily on the week leading up to the exam. It's hard work, but it works.
