Hey guys!
For those who have done face 2 face prac exams before, do you think that they are harder than the acer umat ones?
Also, I find their setting out different to the umat ones, with the S1 passages longer, the S2 passages also longer, and the S3 puzzles slightly different and awkward HAHA...

ive looked around and it seems that a total score from S1, 2 and 3 of 180 will give you a score of 60. What percentile is that? Is that equivalent the same every year?:idea:
i am in year 12 this year, and is considering doing MBBS (although i doubt that i will get in anyway).
i think that is what the interview is about isnt it? i've always thought about the interview as them trying to suss you out and seeing if youre actually going to be willing to put in work etc...

they told us that even though a law background may help, its the least of your worries because its more scientific than law. the closest thing you can get to anything related to law in forensic medicine is being the 'expert witness' etc in cases where you use your scientific...
i went to a forensic science career afternoon the other week and nearly all of the workers there (pathologists, scientists etc) had a basic science degree and then did honours, masters, PhD and whatnot, and ended up being a pathologist.
be careful! there is only around 40 forensic pathologists...
