uses nails or fingertips is just prefference, some ppl rather either one, and u shouldnt get marked down cause of that, if u really want u can get pingerpicks and a thumb pick. Im a fingerpicker, play a lot of leo kottke, and i just use finger, mainly cause im lazy, but eh your choice

the thing is that you must play to your audience to a certain extent, choose variety to showcase your talent.. saying hey i can play anything!, the markers will warm more to something they can appreciate, so something weird that only you like and not many other people wont be received as well

i think a golden rule is not to round up till you have finished and write out hte full long decimal answer and then round up or got to ho wmany significant figures. At least then they can see you did all the calcualations right
