    Hidden Discrimination in hiring employees

If you're white, it's assumed that you don't speak an asian language. Some people do (my very white cousin speaks fluent mandarin), but it's rare. And it does make sense to speak english in australia, just because it makes it much easier to function in wider society, but if you're working...

    Hidden Discrimination in hiring employees

.. yeah that post was coherent. Bankstown is more diverse than Cabramatta, but I've noticed that their youth is predominately not white (based on PCYC things I go to). Hence chain stores (which employ youths) would reflect this. In Cabramatta, lots of jobs require basic skills in Vietnamese or...

    Arts Network Mentoring Program

I cannot stand the way the lady who's running the whole deal talks. It always sounds like she's speaking to a child. It's like year 6 peer support. Oh and on the cruise they told us how to send and receive email. I couldn't believe that they seriously thought we needed to know that...

    Hidden Discrimination in hiring employees

Is there some secret white population in Auburn that I don't know about? Because I'd expect a chain restaurant there to have few/no white people, same as a chain in Cabramatta or Bankstown.

Oh My God Stop Waxing and Shaving Now!

whoa n00b. Waxing is messy because there's often a bit of wax left on your skin, and a good beautician will moisturise the hell out of you, so you go home covered in cream. Exfoliating involves using a loofah or a scrub, and getting dead skin off you. After hair removal, exfoliating and...

    Casino Royale

All Bond movies are predictable, though. There is Bond. A villain is established. Sexy ladies are introduced and slept with. ACTION (cars, fighting and running) There is some sort of twist. Bond is winnar End. I didn't expect to find Mr Bond quite so hot, though.

    Cho Chang- Yay or Nay?

SECONDED This thread reminds me of The Simpsons: Lisa: Can you tell me what happens at the end of the series? J.K Rowling: He grows up and marries you. Is that what you want to hear? Lisa: Yes!

    Another Christmas pressie help thread.

If you want to get her a book you could try a cookbook (everyone loves to cook), a coffee table book (the postsecret book, the blue day book etc) or a classic of some sort (that could apply for DVDs as well).

    P-Plate Restrictions

Apparently (says Mediawatch) there have been something like 75 crashes at that intersection, because it's a blind corner. This is the only one that has been reported. A lot of it is just the media jumping on any accident involving a young driver. Every day in Mx (quality literature there)...

Oh My God Stop Waxing and Shaving Now!

Hmm this might be a good idea for summer, when I can't wait four weeks to get my legs waxed (skirts and shorts must be worn all the time, not just for a week after waxing). Might get one, especially if they're cheap. How long does it take to do legs?
