    Thinking about the optional topics

Thanks for concreting my idea about option topics.

What car do you drive? (the new one)

Nice. That area looks sick too. Is it an industrial zone?

What else can we discuss on this topic?

Drifting95's Economics and Business Studies raw marks

Congratz bro. Hope you get into Law. I got 89 in MX2 with a 64 raw (88 exam). My highest aggregate, worth somewhat to the equivalent of a 99.7 ATAR. I take that with pride lol. But still it is hard work.

kiwi703's raw marks - english, physics and economics

I would think so too. Its weird though because last year Deswa1 got a 90/100 raw and only just missed out on a state rank. Deswa1 got a 96 exam mark iirc.

    Raw mark estimation?

Eng: 73/105 raw aligned. Eco: 78/100 raw aligned. No idea on the rest.

    First job at 18 y.o?

I'm in the same boat as you for that. Got an offer for a scholarship which I declined because I didn't want to do that course. But yeah I was hoping for some type of engo job, because I even have a whitecard and everything. I don't know what types of part time jobs are directly relevant to...

Girls & Guys: how much do you weigh?

^ Your weights are in the healthy range. Having a BMI of 28 is a bit of a drag though.

    First job at 18 y.o?

Many large firms don't want overqualified people because they know that they will leave within a few years. My parents told me that I may have better chances by saying I'm not going to uni next year and that I didn't even finish year 12. But then again I haven't applied for fast food yet. The...

    Thinking about the optional topics

Don't pick an option based on aligning. And it varies every year so can't really tell. I took a huge gamble in terms of aligning this year when I did Age of Silicon, because you never know whether the tiny AOS cohort will do well or not in Section 1. But I know that by choosing the option I...

EAS estimate for combined law? And AAA question?

I'm pretty sure that EAS, AAA and Elite Athletes and Performers are allowed as bonus points for Law. However, I think that you can only have a maximum of 5 bonus points for these (I'm not 100% sure though and it might be up to 10), and a maximum through HSC plus, giving a maximum of 10 bonus...

kiwi703's raw marks - english, physics and economics

Awesome marks. Congratz! And any other year that raw mark for Physics would get a state rank.

AWD vs. 4WD vs. FWD vs. RWD

Do you know how cheap that is bro? You can get an S2000 for free? Jokes. What about the NSX. I mean they aren't too much nowadays and surely everyday joes can get one (if you can find one). I've seen heaps of the Acura one's but only one or two of the Honda's for some odd reason.

    Thinking about the optional topics

Any way now is the time to think about it. You want a general idea and should take your time in making the decision as it can make all the difference in HSC. I know my choice made a significant difference and that took me about 3 months to make the decision. It was certainly the only option for...

    Motion and physics

You barely need to memorise formulas. You just derive them as you go. Only some formulas will require memorising (barely though) and if you do consistent work you will already know them off by heart.

AWD vs. 4WD vs. FWD vs. RWD

I'm pretty sure that has something to do with the equal weight distribution allowing it to corner easily and gain traction when accelerating/decelerating at a high rate. Maybe bucket list it lol? Nice. Not many people have the chance to drive an AMG at all.

    Can Students pick electives?

For Physics, A few of us spoke to the teacher regarding option modules. Our teacher was confident enough for us to be independent learners, so letting us choose our own options. The top 3 of this year smashed the HSC for Physics, doing the option module that the teacher wasn't teaching. But...
