The trolls in this thread. Might as well tell OP to change their course. For OP: Did you do MX2? If you did MX2 and got over 85 in it, then maybe you should consider doing MATH1141. If you haven't done MX2, just stick to MATH1131.

Call Centrelink to ask where the cheque came from maybe? (I don't know I have never dealt with a cheque before so probably someone else has a better answer to this).

The only reason why the government would be stuffed is because people like Gary Oak are not educated about the facts of why it is an important law. And a heap of other, unrelated stuff too.

Letter in mail should come within one month of when the application went in. The cheque could be for something else. Also, you don't get cheques from Centrelink. Instead, you get a direct payment (like wages) which you will see in your account pop "out of nowhere" every 14 days.

I payed $55 for everything for Physics (I got my paper back too :D) For just raw marks and results check, it is about $22 each subject, except English which is much higher.

Hahaha XD. Depends how you word it though. Solar Cells are Photocells to the extent that they require light energy to work (You can use them as a Light dependent resistor (LDR) too).
