Help with a Question Moving about YEAR 11!

This is good info, but is not necessary. The questions asks to assess the worth of the technological developments. The key word is worth. So instead of explaining like that, it would be wise to instead briefly mention that crumple zones increase the time of impulse decreasing force, and that...

Help with a Question Moving about YEAR 11!

To begin with, look at what car safety does. It saves lives. So what benefits does that have? It reduces death for an individual. What does this do? It allows the person to be involved and contribute to society (in terms of work, or volunteering, or taking care of people, etc)

    Most interesting physics option?

Jacaranda, HSC online (I only used HSC online for AoS) and one website which addressed a dot-point in the syllabus that was missing in the textbook (optical linearity was too brief and I didn't understand anything about Silica until I stumbled across that site). If many people in your class...

    Most interesting physics option?

I did the one that is least done, Age of Silicon. It was quite a fun option and there was no need to memorise much as 80% of the option was based on your skills on analysing different questions involving circuits, amplifiers and logic gates. If you are looking to do engineering, especially...

    Getting rid of belly fat

A few users here tend to be sarcastic 50% of the time. Includes SylviaB.

I'm pretty sure SylviaB implied sarcasm there.

    Divisibility

We briefly skipped over modulo in lectures though. Luckily I know how to convert bases, but still a majority of people would have been like "what?" when we were shown the field of integers 5.

University sector bound by constraints that kill innovation

Yeah they go through Arc. Not sure though. I think maybe how wannaspoon said the SSAF (which mainly goes to Arc), is used for the funding. So we are supposed to be paying for them anyway from the beginning of semester, but since the government also covers until we pay back I'm not sure...

University sector bound by constraints that kill innovation

But if there are less society funds being put in, then there are more uni funds being put in. Either way the uni practically gives a society money when they ask and provide evidence that it is a necessity for the society. BBQ's are said necessities lol. tbh the amenities provided would be in...

    Past Papers

Recycling questions probably is not a good idea. I know for my assignments, they are the same every year, but its not like you can cheat an assignment by over preparing and knowing everything beforehand because you have two weeks lol. And even if you do ask past students about how to do...

University sector bound by constraints that kill innovation

Nah universities have too much money any way. We have BBQ's every two weeks which probably cost $800 for just our society. We have heaps of cash already so there is no need as we still are improving (and still are in terms of renovating buildings and stuff). So money at UNSW is not an...

    Past Papers

Have not seen this guy post since forever. Doesn't the faculty hand out past papers? (like for maths and physics they have past papers online and in course packs and stuff).

    UNSW v USyd for Science/Law?

I like how at the law building, anyone can just walk in and use the library for study.

    Superconductivity

Just one thing to add, even when you cool them to lower temperatures, you have to maintain them at those temperatures which is very expensive (if it was an instant cooling thing, then it would be quite easy, but the maintaining of those temperatures is the source of difficulty).

Re: HSC Physics Marathon 2014 The legend returns XD Btw, you can use the questions I post up Fizzy for your classes and the what not (I give you permission).

UNSW vs. MQ for actuarial (POLL!)

Same thing can happen for engineering students in the less mainstream (petroleum, mining, biomedical) degrees. Many of them end up working in some sort of business related role because they can't find jobs here in NSW relevant to their degree. Might have declined the scholarship.

Ah ok I know where it is now. How did some guy jump it (what is there to jump along the walkway?)? Maybe you are talking about the Physics cat. There is this stray cat that lives near the Physics first year office in a bush. So you are Menomaths ;)?
