Not really no. Like intelligence may play a part into the effort to results ratio. But you still need to put in the effort in the first place. Take Hayabusaboston by example. Had an apparent iq of a million. Got 94 or something, which is less than people with average iqs who tried...

They take your supp exam mark and your original final mark and take the average which is then added onto your quizzes + labs /40 mark. Not sure if there is some sort of aligning for 1121. However 1131 did scale as there is no way I got over 85/120 in the final. I'm sure that max I could have...

It seems that mechatronics students are having these clashes quite a bit (both SR and OP have these clashes). If you know anyone else in mechatronics, ask them if they have been able to get these clashes approved.
