Dang the dilemma between social life and 4 day weekends.

And the obvious problem of full classes. My ideal timetable would be to place at least one of these lectures on Monday.

It lets me have less days if I smash it all together. ACST101's assessment is in its lecture for some reason, so I'll probably move that to Wednesday and attend another one as I see fit.

The ACCG lecture was just horrid. She pretty much recited the textbook.

Yeah sure! 4 Lectures back to back looks a bit taxing. I could move one of them to Wednesday or Thursday but that would mean 4 days. This is my Current: Potential new:

I'm considering doing Mon, Tue, Frid w/ 4 backtoback lectures on Friday instead of: Wed, Thurs, Frid. 1. Prevents the stacking of ACST101 test and ACCG100 test. 2. Matches my timetable up with my HS friends i.e. more social time. Thoughts?

WileyPlus is more like an interactive tool, gives you homework and quizzes to do as extra revision. It's not like a pass for all Wiley books.

Has anyone consistently used WileyPlus after purchasing it? It's an extra $25, not sure if it's worth the money.

Questions for asians specifically- Would you date an indian?

The cultural barriers between indians and other asians aren't all that big, other than color and religion, you could easily see chinese/korean/japanese/other asians discipline in indian families.

How to effectively study for uni?

I think it's a bit different for these years as a lot more students are beginning to use laptops i.e. potentially more effective study methods. When did you graduate?

How to effectively study for uni?

This is what I have a dilemma with right now. Sure, handwriting is probably more memorable and better for learning, but I can't write fast nor neat enough to aptly keep up with a lecture. With at least half of my commerce units beginning to show use of math and graphs, it becomes harder to...

Had my first day today with a short 2 hours. BBA102's Dr. Gow's intro tut was interesting, nothing much about content. Finance 1A was a bit messy, it was just an immediate group allocation depending on seating (i.e. friends who sat together easily got into the group). The content also did some...

With the difference between HSC classes and uni classes, how many of you (2nd-4th years) wrote out your notes? I type much faster than I can write, and don't really get distracted. Math classes are obviously pen-on-paper, but what about the more content-heavy courses? I was thinking of typing...

I think this just means that you'll do another unit more than your peers in your later years.

Dropped From 2 Unit TO general

Yeah I know about it, the building's way too eye-catching to not notice it when it was first built. Let me just say that UNSW's B. Comp Sci has an assumed knowledge of HSC MEX1, so if you plan to not do 3U in HSC, you'll be jumping from General to 3U for bridging courses.

Dropped From 2 Unit TO general

That also means there are more people that you have to compete with for a top 5 in that class.

As a general description, HECS-HELP is the same thing as paying up front, just that HECS-HELP is a pay over time kind of thing (both are the same in a long-term sense). As the discounts are removed, they basically have no difference other than the times of payment, other than HECS-HELP have a...
