    Keyboards

Also one more thing to add, 6KRO is preferred in the criteria as there are times when I do need about 3 or 4 simultaneous key presses at a time.

    Keyboards

So I need a new keyboard. I have looked at mechanical ones, which seem great but I've only used them a few times overall. I'm open to something else which may be more suitable. I'm currently using an old membrane keyboard so I do hit the keys quite hard. One criteria I need is to have...

Craziest/random/wierd things that you have seen happen at school?

Lol our teachers let us play fps games on school computers in the final week any way.

UNSW Sem 1 Final Exams Thread

I had a quick look at that exam paper. It's somewhat a cross between 1141, 1241 and statistics. There's some content from 1141 that is not covered at all and to replace that it has 1241 content and more stuff on statistics instead. I can understand why a lot of people find it hard however...

engineering and international studies at UTS

This thread is starting to go mildly off topic. Post in reference to the questions asked please. Is it demanding doing two degrees? Do remember that your workload each semester of a dual degree program would be the same as a single degree program. The difference in the end is how long you stay...

CARS & RIDES & Mighty Car Mods

Could be v-belts, timing case, drivetrain, suspension, etc. It usually is not something that is not directly related to the heart of the engine (so wouldn't be a cam, crank, etc). To rule out anything mechanical relating to drivetrain and suspension, does it make the noise while in high rpm in...

    Birthday Gift For My Bae

Something like this. However I was moreso posting in reference to sentimental value. A gift with sentimental value is a gift to get. That doesn't necessarily correlate to price. For example, I once gave a friend a drawing; they loved it even though it was a terrible artwork because of the value...

    The UNSW Scaling Thread

It did not say significant scaling. The e-mail/moodle post referred to the fact that there will be scaling involved as the exam is set early in the semester and there were a few complaints of it being difficult by students :haha: Basically his point was that there will be scaling, but the...

    UNSW Chit Chat Thread

Re: UNSW Chit Chat Thread 2015. Yeah first year maths is pretty prompt with marking. They do a really good job with it.

    Static and Dynamic Resistance.

Use the non-ohmic case for class because it conveys the point you are making that the resistance of the light bulb is non-ohmic (was this the aim of the experiment?). For exams, you usually want ohmic because you are relating it to a line of best fit for a specific set of values, unless it is...

    Static and Dynamic Resistance.

Static resistance refers to linear resistance. For a linear resistance, you want something with a constant gradient (a gradient which does not change at all). So basically you want a straight line which is increasing for the graph of voltage drop across the resistor (y-axis) vs current (x-axis)...

Is there any way to install aux into my old car?

Yeah this. Effectively the amp will also be increasing the interference signal as well as the music signal.

UNSW Sem 1 Final Exams Thread

Try finding past paper solutions from a student society (I know a few that do this) or maybe just compare answers with friends (I've had to do this before as well and it gets good group discussions going).

Test and compare your internet speed

I had a friend call and complain once then he said it magically jumped up by a bit. Give them a call if you aren't getting anywhere near (which for your case is quite obvious being around 20 times less than) what you originally intended to pay for.

UNSW Sem 1 Final Exams Thread

Tbh I've always found just knowing most important concepts very well then cramming all the specifics into the last few weeks of semester works out for maths related courses. Very subjective though to each individual.

Girls & Guys: how much do you weigh?

The past two weeks, due to exams, have made me gain 2-3 kg. But after exams, should be able to lose about 5 kg in the next month (probably gain 1kg of muscle too).

Unless you can pull off something really amazing that lands you a great job during uni or get a cadetship, then co-op is one of your better opportunities.
