Yeah I had my formal recently, the food was pretty shit. Not many people liked it, totally not worth what we paid for...

Sometimes the school has a formal committee. This means that the students decide most of the things, including the venue. However, if its for year 10, then the school has absolutely no participation in it, the kids have to do it all themselves.

Maybe it depends on how you performed in the other subjects. I'm sure the selectors would have to go through many things selecting the final reserves. Think about the application in the beggining, where we had to give in NAPLAN results and school reports and anything else that supported the...

I once memorised an essay overnight by recording my voice. Seemed to work for me! Not sure whether I'd do it again though! I guess its something you just have to try, as everyone has different learning styles. Only then you can figure out whether or not it is effective :)
