Yeah but you missed what I've been trying to mean to say (I just haven't said it in my first posts because I forgot to mention it)..but you can go to a decent but bodgy university (with all the resources from all the other uni's) and still get your degree with the same amount of knowledge as...

Oh yeah and also you can teach yourself, I thought uni was about independance..and the most basic of education can be built more from just a final year of school certificate..I mean if someone can do good in 4 unit maths/english..you can do any degree you wish...by yourself!

But then most of the people there spend most of the time on the literature and the materials provided there as opposed to playing sports or developing friendships with their boyfriends or girl

I mean, think about all the top universities out there like USYD and UNSW...but if you think about it, many uni's rely on computers and the internet for resources and teaching. Sure, they have all the old books in the library - but they also have computers and the net as well..but what if the...

Disagreed :shouting:...only for the people who apply a bit late though. If people applied way earlier..like before the early round then I agree with you Morbo

Maybe you need to think twice, because I have just discovered something that would benifet all the people out there who applies for uni a bit late before (about a month before) the main round offers are released

ACTUALLY I WAS RIGHT, UAC ONLY GIVES LESS THAN 1 WEEK TO PROCESS AND PAY YOUR APPLICATION FEE (IN OTHER WORDS "LODGE" YOUR APPLICATION) AFTER PEOPLES CHANGE IN PREFERENCES LAST YEAR FOR THE LATE ROUND. See the late round change in preferences closing date for the late round here -->...

Would there be any difference between the internet cut-offs and the newspaper cut offs for the main/ late or final rounds?

NOT ALL COURSES are offered in the mid-year, so how could I make the right choice out of 1800 or so courses? Lol..dw, I'm sort of over it now..

Its just the way they explain about the application and stuff, I mean when I "applied" without the fee it said on my preference sheet given in my letter that I HAVE been considered but wasn't made an offer because I didn't pay the fee in time...its ambiguous as to why I didn't apply..but yeah...

But there is a link sort of thing with how early people do have to pay their processing charge fee, because since there are so many people applying in the main round as compared to all the other early and after rounds, then there has to be a longer leeway or space before the main round offers...
