Wrong. Some people (the speaker) tell those who are close to them (the listener) the truth because it gives the listener an accurate representation of how the speaker truly feels, rather than the listener only having someone who tells them what they want to hear. This disproves your flimsy...

It depends - I have a feeling a lot of the "asian"/non-asian relationships being described here are with asians who were primarily (or wholly) brought up here - mainly the exterior is asian - a lot of the culture's different to a "real" asian. You can't be serious can you? You seriously can't...
