Haha, I get it - differentiate, and it's Maths! Haha.
For me, I think that any exam will be hard, but to people that know the topics I'm guessing it'll be difficult-but-not-hard kinda thing.
It's rather dehumanising when you look back on the HSC: 13 (or more) years of your life all summed up in a single number which, for most people, isn't nearly as high as they'd hoped.
It doesn't matter how much study I'll do today, I still won't have the grasp on the topics that I need in order to pass...I wish I'd done General Maths.
I sincerely hate you all...
At roughly 12 words a line:
Golden Age/Throwim Way Leg - 2 pages
Wuthering Heights - 2 pages
Antony & Cleopatra and additional - 4 pages.
There's no way I'm not getting a crappy mark.
True enough, and I don't know if this is true for anyone else, but I always seem to trust English and Maths teachers when it comes to teaching the syllabus; I only study the syllabus when it comes to subjects like science, etc. Not a good idea in reality, but oh well, English is over forever.
Extracts in Wuthering Heights?! I hate everything now.
I talked about Freudian analysis of Hareton, how a feminist reading of the book will focus on how women are represented and GODDAMN BRONTE; I HOPE YOU'RE BURNING RIGHT NOW. I managed to write about 2 pages of my small writing.
TGA/TWL quite frankly suck. Luckily, there's a whole heap of crap the teacher's given us that saves me from actually reading that brick of a book, TWL. Gaaaaah, I'm gonna do not very well on this test!!
I found Section 3 to be quite kind to me - the question fitted nice with all the study I'd done. I was able to get ...most of my notes out in a suprising (for me) 4 pages.
Focus: Physical Journeys
Texts: Peter Skrzynecki's "Immigrants at Central Station, 1951" and "Migrant Hostel"
"The...
I did Journeys of the Heart and basically re-did my story from the trials and beefed it up a bit.
It was about some guy (Dave) and he hears this bum on the street say something like "I look back now and realise how it is that I came to be here." and that gets Dave thinking about how he wants...
I wish I hadn't skipped the last question, but I had to - I'd spent waaay too much time already answering the other questions.
As for the texts, I thought they weren't as bad as they could've been. I didn't like the slideshow though; it seemed like a last minute thing they put in, just to...
It would help me a lot if our teacher actually taught us, instead of talking about random crap... Oh well, looks like I'll have to cram like I've never crammed before!
In no particular order...
