aww, i never got to do that online test or have the online induction.

I applied for this in 03 and was invited to a group interview. When I got there the guy told us all that unfortunatly they couldnt do the group interview cause they forgot to book the board room, he told us he would call us to arrange another time. Never heard from them since.

same with me lol, except for my proofs everytime I wrote therefore something was equal to something else he wrote "Prove It" on them.

I dont mind it except when we have stupid customers who ask really stupid questions, or when I get stuck on registers. All the managers are pretty nice except for one woman who snaps at everyone for no reason, but no one takes any notice of her anymore so its all good.

My store at the moment is having its own recruitment, where people come and collect an application form from a line manager, fill it in and return it with their resume. I got in through the normal coles myer group interview stuff though ages ago.

Yeah i get that, but they are still doing the same work, so technically shouldnt they get the same amount for it.

Ive never understood why they can actually pay say a 14 yr old less to do exacty the same work as say an 18yo

Some are at the city Myer store, and some at Hornsby Myer store.

Most big places like coles myer, maccas, etc, and other retail places will not pay you over $10/hr until your 17.

Depends where you work and if you are full/part time or casual. Casual is usually ~ +20% extra then the full time rate.

You shuold get paid your normal hourly rate for the induction, and you will be paid for the previous Monday to Sunday on Wednesday
