    Yeah wish that was quicker, but theres no direct bus to Chatswood from up here... the one bad thing about moving from there to here.

    Yeah bus each way takes 1hr 25 or so with the bus stop about 5 mins walk from my house and the city bus stop about 5 mins walk from UTS. And they don't come as often as I'd like either.

    Parking at UTS

    I know this is very very wishful thinking, but is there anywhere close and relativley cheap to park at UTS? I know there are stacks of parks along Broadway, but how long can you stay there and do they go pretty early? It's just that with all these half days I'll be spending the same amount...

    Yeah I live up the top of the beaches- so I'm paying for a couple of buses in there each day- totalling about 3 hours travelling. Then on top of that, I pay for those who don't have to travel? It does seem a bit flawed.

    Aaaaah, I haven't registered for anything and I'm working on Monday so I can't go then. Is Monday like the major one compared to Tuesday? Can someone give me a link or a run down of the whole o-week thing because I got no idea what they are about/when they are/ why people go etc.

    Are any other Communication newbies not planning on going to o-week/faculty welcome etc.? Is it seen as an essential thing, or just something to go to if you don't feel comfortable winging it?

    Yeah I'm not too sure either. Applied for a couple of local bar/bottle-o jobs today so if I get lucky there then I won't try for DSE.

    Haha weird, I just applied at W Mall DSE the other day and I also live in Newport. Don't expect to get the job though, application wasn't all that impressive. Let us know what the interview is like.

    I'm pretty sure at enrolment they said the week starting 17th Feb was when we could finalise it so I assume then. (Don't rely on that though- I was tuning out at the time.)
