I'm ranked 2/60something after trials and I got 80/105 XD but in some ways it's good because it motivates you to push your limits before the real thing. And I guess if your cohort collectively failed, it's okay as long as they do well in the externals. And your rank is alright, so don't worry...

Yeah our chem teachers mark ridiculously hard. It borders unfair, and I've heard from other tutors/teachers that HSC examiners won't be that strict. It's demoralising because teachers are meant to be on your side, but some just feed off negative marking.

I'm pretty much interpreting a Shakespeare character visually through the use of patterns. Largely Klimt style patterns. Don't wanna say too much of it online because I am quite the paranoid haha It's a series of paintings!
