Sigh, my store is so incompetent. Get rostered on for 3.5h (crap shift), get called to work 3h, turn up at work and they're short hours and the captain asks me to stay back a half hour... As if I would ever do that. What's worse is that all my shifts are now turning to 3h or 3.5h (down from 5h)...

Heh, the assistant SM all the department managers had to work last night because the regional manager was going to visit the store today. Never seen them filling shelves before.

It was about 1-2 weeks after I applied when I got the call. Took me about 6 months of applying to get an interview and subsequent job. Interestingly enough the time when I got the interview I applied for it only hours after it had be posted whereas the other times it had been a few days after...

Usually when I am rostered on that day I get a call asking me if I can work. I asked a couple other causals from work and they said to only go in when you get a call, as the roster for the current week is always changing and so if you don't get a call it means they don't need you anymore.
