This is where you have to "study smart". You pick the questions (e., every second or third questions) do as much questions that you don't understand. here you go. Do the past papers, and you'll be fine, but only if you understand the whole concepts. Or otherwise, just do those past papers.

It depends on your experience for tutoring and the quality. I would say to start off about $20, because, since your student is a Year 6 student, your experience for tutoring and how good you teach :), charge he/she too much maybe a bit..... but it's also depends on how long you're going to...

I came a year before you :) What i've heard is that ESL scales wayyyyy better than standard. There's one year, most of the ESL students who got band 6s got band 5 in the end cuz there's too many band 6 in ESL than Advance. :( It's harder to get a Band 6 in Standard than in ESL. So, do ESL. :)

Journey is the past HSC English theme from 2004 to 2008. You can only get the papers off the Board of Studies Website, but as for the listening, I'm not quite sure about that though. I can't see those listening materials on the net. :spin:

I don't do Food tech but my friend said that there's a lot of work that you need to put in. I do english, Japanese Continuers, Modern history, Bio, Chemistry and 3U maths (a bit similar to yours) but if you love food tech, do it! Just do what you love not because it scales bad. there's...

I LOVE ALL of my subjects..... but I hate my Chemistry and Japanese Continuers teachers, they can't really teach :(

Don't stress that much, study bit by bit everyday, as it has been said above, you have to understand the concepts. I do Chem as well, I felt like there's a lot of stuff to memorise and we've got a crap teacher. So therefore textbooks/ study guides/ past papers are my new best friends. :lol...
