By reading what you've typed, the 1st dice thrown won't actually make any difference - hence you exclude that result. Thus really, the only probability that matters is the 2nd throw, which is 1/6 chance for a 4.

Aren't medals for people with a perfect score? I thought in primary school the only opportunities for those were through full marks. Also, how'd you go for AMC (can pm if you want). I think there's definitely a chance for you to be invited to the AMO for 2013 if you performed well above. :)...

To be honest, i'm not that great in school sciences - don't perform so well to my other subs. I prefer those external competitions instead.

Don't worry guys - Predicted marks and ranks for next year. I can read them like the back of my palm. 2U maths - 80% 3U maths - 75% 2U English - 70% 3U English - 65% Economics - 60% Chemistry - 55% Physics - 50% All subjects ranked in the bottom 10 percent of the cohort.

I seriously think all of the regulars should be shouting you lunch if this happens - no pressure. :)
