Ranks within your school only matter for scaling students in the school. You're going to have to do really well in the actual HSC for the 98+ ATAR. I expect you should be getting around 96+, though. If you can keep these ranks up and perform well in the HSC it might even be a 99+.

It's not. You still have the capacity to do really well. As long as you stay consistent in Maths and push up your Chemistry + Physics a little bit. It's just that if you want that 90+ ATAR you're gonna have to get that English really high.
