evening class r real nice. not as many people and quiet. i work so much better at night so i attend the night lecturs even though i dont have to. i live on campus so its not so bad.

Top students usually dont go into actuarial, if they are not a completely anti social. But instead they go into banking, trading, structuring or anything that a straight com student cannot do.

Re: Buy and Sell thread - Sem 1 and 2 you'll be given a text list later once you enrol. from past experience first semester text book (law + accg) will cost you around 300 if you buy all new. may be a bit more. bb

i dont think they have a 'withdrawal' option. you either enrol, withdraw as if you never enrolled, or withdraw and fail. 2nd of jan is the last day to withdraw without financial penality. 9th of jan is the last day you can withdraw without a 'fail' on ur transcript. you better decide fast.

i think the fact that 'actuarial' subjects are harder is because of the bell curve. Only a certain percentage of people are allowed to obtain HD and Ds, and if you are competing against hardworking asians and jews then they sortta 'take your spot'.
