    Not happy jan

Great...did it have to be in first person? Mine was in third person mainly, with interjections of first person narration. Most of the protaganist's psychogocial reflection was in third person...was the question really that specific? I did Romanticism though..maybe I'm talking about a different...

What elective did you do? Techniques are a crucial part of any essay...You should have at least one per paragraph per text. I had 2-3 per paragraph and I had 8 paragraphs. They are an essential part of your analysis :( How come you only put in 2?

Essay question was great for Romanticism, managed to get out 8 pages with 4 texts and focused on nature/imagination and the human experience. Also contrasted Wuthering Heights with Northanger Abbey to illustrate the manipulation of textual forms and features. The creative...was okay. I wrote...

Extension English: Chances the question asks for 3 prescribed texts?

They usually say "texts of your own choosing", thus expecting you to be well read in other texts besides your prescribed, so I highly doubt this. If they do, it's going to be massive essay of Austen, Bronte and Coleridge lol.

making up stats, cases, media in legal essay?

Yeah under exam pressure it's hard to remember specific details. My advice, take in easy to remember cases and legislation - even better if you can use them in a couple of essays. E.g. the UN CROC convention can be applicable to human rights and family law.

making up stats, cases, media in legal essay?

Yeah obviously if you say the Human Rights Act of 1975 they are going to know haha, but say if you forget half the name of the case e.g. the recent reforms in Family Law, you can refer to them as the 2011 reforms to the Family Law Act 1975 as opposed to remembering all the brackets.

making up stats, cases, media in legal essay?

Um...I'm aware...just saying legal markers OR teachers will have an understanding of real vs fake cases. They might not pick up everything, true, but you can't guarantee they will just assume it's correct because you wrote it down. P.s. Why is everyone so hostile on this thread?

making up stats, cases, media in legal essay?

Also, if you look at the marking guideline from previous years for legal studies, you will notice in the "weaker responses" section that they state those with lower marks tend to fabricate cases and legislation. These HSC markers have probably seen it all, don't deprive yourself of marks.

    Romanticism creative period piece?

I always thought it was expected to base your creative during the romantic era as it shows you have an understanding of the context and "ways of thinking" of the time period, thus better marks.

making up stats, cases, media in legal essay?

I used a tonne of cases in my crime essay for my trial. My teacher didn't believe they were all legit, so she researched them. Luckily they were all legitimate cases (cause I studied a.l.o.t), but it shows that they will check - especially if you integrate heaps.
