Anyone do <10 units for their final year ?

^ Leanne? I knew her. Yeah, most of the philosophers did fewer than 10 units for Yr 12. There were quite a few 99.95ers among us.

    How to cope with...

Find quiet time to study - your own room (+ headphones), a local library, the school libarary, or even libraries in the city (State Library/Fisher Library). Key thing is just to make spaces and time for yourself, undisturbed and away from interruptions.

    Are extension subjects worth it?

Not really, EE1 scales better than EE2. And 4U English is not comparable at all to 4U maths in terms of scaling benefits.

    Starting to freak out..

Try not to stress - but do realise that everyone, and I mean EVERYONE has moments of panic and frustration. The only thing to do is just to plod away - working consistently, and you will, guaranteed, be ok. Really. If you have kept up with your school work, notes - then you should feel...

    Romanticism

I can look over it, but let me just tell you now - the creative is one of the most difficult parts, its very contrived in that you have to have so much on "ways of thinking". That is, your story REALLY has to encmpass the contextual stuff I advised you research -...

Arts/Law also! Tossing up between Arts or PESS (Political, economic, social science) + Law. But I figured I can always transfer Arts credits and do PESS (since its a more restrictive distribution of Arts anyway. Have you checked out your units? I'm doing Political Economy, Chinese Advanced and...

    Romanticism

Our teacher photocopied so much theory for us - I think we had info from over 10 books on the Romantic period and I've still got literally boxes full of journal articles about other aspects of Romanticism. Your teacher may well be as well resourced - but if she isn't, then definitely be...

I know! :( I (ahem) didn't wake up early enough to go *blush* I heard my nametag was there and everything (how embarrassing). Did you meet anyone else form my school? Adrienne Cohen/Rebecca Beaumont? They're way more science-y than me. I was at the afternoon tea at 3pm though! I'm sorry for...

related text material for the crucible

I reckon you're lucky to get The Crucible - its a fantastic text with alot of depth and you can draw upon many things to make your analysis even more sophisticated and to impress the markers. For example - you should look at, or even throw in things relating to Arthur Miller's message...

UAI. Not complainin' or anything, but 100 >>>>> 99.95 (if only in spirit). Even the teachers at school were like "it just doesn't feel the same" :mad1:
