Grr, I had some friends who accelerated who did that. It sounded really good. I was actually accelerated in English from years 7-10, but I dropped out (even though I was getting straight A's) because I didn't think I was good enough to go on to senior english. The teachers didn't agree with me...

Also when you're trying to study for exams, you can't be reading through the entire textbook for revision, it's much easier if you have a condensed summary to jog your memory.

Have you tried organising a social justice group or something? I know that Oxfam and Amnesty and World Vision are more than willing to email you stuff if you say you're interested in starting up a club at your school. Even if you start it and you only get a couple of members... I'm sure you can...
