You new uni students are so jumpy aren't you? Eager to start uni lol. Trust me, you will find out during your first week what books you may need to buy and then you can spend wisely. Some people try to buy books before uni starts and they spend quite a substantial amount.

I am applying for advanced standing based on my previous uni studies. I know I need to bring my transcript/s but I also have to bring "official course descriptions". Do I just print out my previous course's subject descriptions on the uni website?

I appreciate what you have said, I can't speak for the other person though. I did not go to that advisory day, missed the very first lecture but it didn't matter. Your first class will be in the BB building and in that first class, you introduce yourself etc etc and get comfortable.

Many of the more established studios or agencies would require people going for job positions to have at least one year or those such as Pentagram, 3 years or more. It also depends on you because the work you do you will want to continue doing within a studio or company that fits your discipline...

I wish to resign from a course I was doing at UWS last year. Do I have to go to my own campus to send this form with my student card? Can I mail it to them or can I do this resignation process at another UWS campus?

I live in the area of UWS Bankstown and I like it because I'vre been there once and it doesn't feel as secluded as possibly other ones. The library seems to be quite nice and at least it's just one big campus so you don't have to get far to the student admin.

I think choosing to do is something you really have to think about. Obviously you need to do really well in your HSC but you should have other options. What do you want to do in a few years time after school?

Shouldn't you be asking yourself instead of asking better prospects and rather ask what I want to do the most as a career? Do you want to do something in Commerce or Optometry?
