i would recomened maybe doing ext maths for year 11, but not for the hsc!!!! ( if just wanna do 2 unit) too much extra work n stress plu in my opinion 3 unit stuffs your 2 unit mark up ( i dont know what is 2 unit and what isnt, so 4 2 unit tests i study ext anyway and get myself into crap)

no! if you are in advanced maths and failing badly dont just do 2/3 unit, because some people say adv people should. Ask your teachers, look at your marks, think about your ability and make an informed descion

less than 3% of people doing english standard get above 80 this year. thats not to say if you work hard, that you will not be one of them. i posted up the stats in another thread, or you can get them at the uac website.

.. its so year 11 students and stuff dont ring up for advice and yeh to stop pranks .. and make the service faster for legit hsc student!

at our school , the teacher that puts you on detentions gives u a slip, u then have to get the slip signed by the detention supevrisor. if you dont do it and get it signed, then u get like 2 detentions, have to see deputy and parents rang ... its easy just to do it if you get it .. but i havent...

true. if i did something like visual arts ( which many people regard as easy in comparison to 3 units maths and stuff) i would def. fail!!

i havent been on detention in high school ( our school doesnt give out many detentions, they prefer to get people to pick up rubbish) anyway detentions are held after skool, so i def. wouldnt want 2 stay back!!!

television ( althoug i dont actually watch much of it!) is amusing, engaging and enterratining and there is evidence to support ( this was once a debating topic for me .. lol if i still had the debate speech i would post it up but i dont)

^^ engage yourself in literature may have been what the person was trying to say. anything that comes your way that can be read, read it! even if it is a televsion guide, a brouchure whatever, make yourself read

assignments though .. they can give them to you on like the 1st day! :(

yeh true about memorising essays takes up so much time! ( time u could use to study another sub) but if you know the exacts essay question you are going to get ( as ion your teachers tells you) then if you wish to memorise a response it may prove to be valuable
