sorry to pop your bubble, but the question asked for nearest dollar therefore A60 = $44, 404 you may think oh yeah pshhhh, but it's a heads up for people doing the exam in future years READ THE BLOODY QUESTION.

hmm i believe you'll lose 1, hard to say because you did not specify the angle, depends if bostes wants to be cruel in a fairly easy test.

    General Thoughts: Mathematics

you are right for part i) as the question says amount of drugs right after second dose (somewhere on the lines of this) therefore at end of 1st 8hr period there will be 10/3 mL of drugs within patient (1/3 of drugs present at begining of 8hr period remains). therefore right after second dose...

am i the only one who struggled in 15 and 16?

part I of the drug question got like (10 + 10/3)mL and for k???? (im assuming your going back to the radioactive question, if in that case i got ln(2)/300, or maybe the quadratic equation one; if in that case i got -3 for k) these values are off the top of my head so don't judge.

am i the only one who struggled in 15 and 16?

tbh, i didn't find it all that difficult, the most challenging to me was the exponential graph with the gradient (imo). Generally the consensus when talking to alot of people they found q 15 very difficult and q 16 of moderate difficulty.

considerably, i mean q 16 was just full of 'show' this and 'show' that and they just chucked in a simple integration question and a slightly harder simpsons rule and a 'bit' more complicated r value (1.01/1.003) for the deposit part

    General Thoughts: Mathematics

yay skimming over those solutions i did pretty much did the same thing =)

no mate, that'll give both equations positive gradients therefore can't be perpendicular to each other

    b6 cutoff?

speak english mate gg no re??? you in the stone age or some shit, cavemen like you don't deserve to put shit on other people.

    i believe 8 is supposed to be C and 10 is D

    General Thoughts: Mathematics

A is horizontal pt of inflexion, therefore at A, y' = 0 (reason why it touches x-axis) but values to the left and right of A will not change the sign of y' (we can see that y' > 0 for A < x and x> A). therefore the reason for a minimum at A B is a pt of inflexion, meaning that y'' = 0 which...

    General Thoughts: Mathematics

    minimum s.p. at (-2,0) , max at (1, ...) and cuts x-axis at x = 3

    General Thoughts: Engineering Studies

mate, the wealth of knowledge you need to know for engineering studies due to its crap and broad syllabus is not even worth it as it's scaling is abysmal (don't fall into the trap in saying "oh but it aligns well", well who gives a shit about aligning, at the end of the day if you want to go to...

3ddementor, i think this is the most correct. (y is the distance from neutral axis, so you definitely have got that wrong) Originally Posted by Shackleford View Post Q20 should be A. General Thoughts: Engineering Studies

i did the calculations and ended up with zero, therefore to double check i looked at the joint F (i believe that it was this joint on the top of my head) and it had three members there. I could not close the force polygon if i tried to include all three members, but i could by omitting DF...
