    2021 LAT Results

You got 66th percentile right? It's hard to compare between years but for entry into UNSW Law in 2021 the median atar was 96.9 and the median lat was 79 (roughly 69th percentile). So I think a 99 would be a bit overkill. But it would depend on what adjustment points you got because many bonuses...

    2021 LAT Results

I somehow got this year's Ogive by messing with the file address for previous years.

    2021 LAT Results

I guess people found this year particularly tough since a score of 76 would have only got me 45th percentile in 2019 and 60th percentile in 2020.

    2021 LAT Results

Can anyone else not access the 2021 ogive? I got 76/100 and 74th percentile.

I guess I'll be the person to start the thread; how did everyone go?

This story will change your life for the 'Greatest'.

Little crazy but at least you're driven. I don't agree that people can just pull up their bootstraps and become an Ubermensch but I have no doubt you'll find success if you're this tenacious.

My Goal For An Immortal Generation.

I think you'll find it easier to accept your mortality than live forever... but whatever floats your boat.

    Reading task

My advice would be to complete as many past HSC and trial papers under time conditions (if you can get feedback that's a bonus). It's important to emulate exam conditions since you will need to be able to decipher unseen texts quickly for the HSC. Additionally, it might be cliche but reading...

    Reading task

It's a valid question since when was it called a reading task?

Planning eco essays by using a 'central essay'?

As other people have said, you really just need to know the content and stats related to the topic areas. It's hard to have a central essay for policy questions as they can ask for any objective.

    NEED HELP!

I'd recommend that you make your goals as specific as possible to avoid wasting copious amounts of time. If you need to work on a Shakespeare essay then break it down into smaller sections. For example, you might focus on the thesis and topic sentences for an hour. If you feel like you are...

    another internal mark question

A little confusing if I am being honest but I'll try to answer. If you could clarify the stealing marks bit that would help. Your moderated mark is going to depend on the rest of the cohort and the relative gaps between students. However, in calculating your moderated mark they maintain certain...

    Atar Estimate

It only suggests that there may be more variance between each year, and as such, it can be more difficult to estimate.

    When should i start tutoring

Tutoring isn't the be-all and end-all of the HSC. However, if you find a good tutor, you don't stand to lose much (besides money). My only concern is the mindset that you can't rank competitively or perform well without tutoring - don't sell yourself short already. Nevertheless, I won't pretend...

How hard would it be to get a 97+ Atar with these subjects?

It would indeed be possible, however, you'll need to give more detail about the cohort size for each subject to estimate a rank. Otherwise, HSC ninja is a good resource to see how many Band 6's your school achieved for each subject. I imagine that getting 97+ will depend on mostly B6/E4 for...

    Atar Estimate

It's always hard to estimate results when you are at the top of your cohort and there isn't a sizeable body of top-performing students. Something to keep in mind when looking at predictions.

Textbook for phys, chem, maths which groups past hsc questions per topic

Not exactly a textbook, but the Excel Success One Physics has HSC questions grouped by modules. I believe they also have extension 1 and chemistry as well. The physics book has been helpful but I can't comment on the others' quality.
