Really? Do you have any more information or links on this? I thought the Board of Studies sent out nominations on the 21st of December, and you would sent in your major work by the 7th of January 2010 for it to be considered. And I'm guessing if you didn't want your major work to be considered...

I think I typed "hopefully" as I'm used to being unsure about my HSC results/ATAR, and therefore I'm probably still unconsciously preparing myself for the worst outcome. I don't think I've been able to grasp that I'll be able to get into my first preference, haha. Sorry for the confusion.

My school isn't even ranked and plenty of people in my school got over 90 ATAR. It doesn't really matter about your school's ranking if you make an effort and get good internal rankings and good external examination marks.

ATARs are never released to the public. The only person who knows your ATAR is you, and anyone else you choose to tell.
