    Are you dropping out?

I thought about making a topic about this before, but then like most of you thought that anyone on here would be. Don't necessarily agree with the above though. If you applied yourself well after leaving this year I think you could earn some decent money. Of course top jobs could only be...

    'All My Own Work'

Erm, wtf?! I supposedly did this today. All the teachers told us to do was to go on the Board website and do the few All My Own Work quizes, which I did in like 15 minutes. Then I mucked around for 1 hour 45 minutes, then came back in after lunch to do a bit of English then bludge a bit more...

SC 2007 - Australian History, Geography, Civics and Citizenship

Hmm, not the way I recall it. The first statement mentioned something very particular and precise in terms of changes to technology, along the lines of 'After WWII/1950s there was too much technology' (very shoddy recollection). The cartoon made no mention of this reference and it was made in...

    School Certificate Over!!!

Argh, boring again today, even though attendance was high for the computer test. It looks like it's going to be a long few weeks of walking around the school, playing handball and stalking people.

    Exam Room Humour

Yey, the pen dropping worked! What rebels we are :santa: Haha, but the funny thing was I didn't even remember to do it! I was too distracted writing funny stuff in the question booklet of the computer test. Hehe, I wrote things like: 'The pointer would not move anywhere on the screen because...

My friend mentioned that the X on the map was in NSW, next to the ACT. I swear it was in the ACT, but I can't remember for sure. Anyone else remember/know?

    SC 2007 - Computing Skills

Did the pen & paper one today. I didn't want to get bored so I was fairly slow with all my questions, ended up finishing in 45 mins. There were no real suprises here, the test was as easy if not easier than I expected. I knew roughly 90% of the stuff in it, and the other 10% took simple...

    Anyone got a paper out?

Hehe, I was considering doing that during one of the tests, but in the end I thought if I got caught it wouldn't be worth the e-penis enlargement. :D Anyway all our teachers seem to have a copy and I've gone through the maths completely.

So now that exams are practically over..

3U Mathematics 3U Advanced English Chemistry Physics Modern History All very hardcore subjects. I wanted to do 14 units with my last subject being ancient history, but because of our stupid school lines it ended up being on physics, which was a definite for me. My plan was to be flexible and...

    SC 2007 - Science

Well our supervisors told us to add in for that question 'approximately'. And yes, I believe the 26% one was correct.

SC 2007 - Australian History, Geography, Civics and Citizenship

I saw someone mentioning the history source question on technology earlier. I actually said 1 was false and 2 was correct, because IIRC, 1 said something specifically about the 1950s or some similar specific thing (someone help out my poor faded memory), while it was actually a cartoon of the...

    Exam Room Humour

Ok, tommorow is on for a coordinated pen dropping! Hopefully we can get enough people to make it funny (around 160 in the hall).

    Supervisers

Completely agreed. Especially for the history/geography one where there was a billion pages to write it on (thankfully the test was easy and short). For science and history/geography they took our sheets away with our student numbers half way through, probably assuming we'd wasted our time at...

SC 07 SCIENCE - Combustion or Decomposition?

Grrr, not particularly liking this answer as the correct answer should actually be thermal decomposition. As far as I can tell this is a fairly specific type of decomposition, not just a description of it. Anyone else want to picket the Board of Studies with me? :burn: jk

    School Certificate Over!!!

The stress was still there yesterday and today, but I think I'm just about over it now. WOOT! Only problem is now that we've got classes of 5 people = teacher doesn't want to do work = teacher gets paid for doing absolutely nothing. Supposedly we need a full time job to leave, but I don't...

SC 2007 - Australian History, Geography, Civics and Citizenship

Yeah, my Geography teacher is a champ for picking it to be on Human Right/Rec. She picked the right one last year too, got her 10+ band 6's (this is in a dumb school). This was probably my most confident section in the test. I chose Reconciliation and about 1/4 of it was on the N.T intervention...

I'm pretty sure that's the right thing to do, the question specifically said 'method', so you didn't have to write aim or anything like that. I included equipment though because sometimes this is included in the method.

    Exam Room Humour

Definitely, people at my school played them all the time last year and it pissed me off. Hahahaha! Was she serious or just trying to get a bit of attention?

    SC 2007 - Mathematics

I believe it cost Elina (think that was her name) overall ~$2 more to travel to the far away rather than just get it at Pete's (the close one). So she lost money going to the far away one and back.
