Most Ruse students who actually try would be CAPABLE of taking 4U maths but whether they choose to is a different story. Some of them may just be humanities inclined and not do maths/science..

Ditto, practice with trials especially for things like English there aren't going to be different half-yearly and trial questions. Though for some other subjects there may be some questions which have over-laping topics which makes timing/practice pretty hard.

Aim for 99.95 and if you fall short it doesn't matter as long as you tried :)

You can catch up in either 2 ways: 1) You can work your way back up the ranks to maybe 1st or 2nd by putting in some really strong performances in assessments 2) If the people who are higher ranked than you are genuinely stronger in economics then this just means you will get roughly your own...

If it's assessable then yes it will affect you're school assessment mark and therefore your final school mark. If it wasn't an official assessment task then it won't count I guess..

Totally agreed, rote learning and memorising might get you through the HSC but once you hit uni you're going to have a terrible time...

It would be great idea, these sort of things are called 'adaptations' and their perfectly acceptable. After all, almost all stories bar science fiction/fantasy are based on past events and ideas...
