Year 12... argh. If only there was a way to turn sub-conscious for a year, and have your body and mind automatically put in all the effort necessary to achieve a top mark, and you wake up again at the end of the HSC exams remembering everything, but not having actually done any of it yourself...

Thank god it doesn't count :P Shame that next year's work builds on it though, unlike chemistry/physics where you pretty much get a clean slate.

Oh believe me, I do beat the "vast majority" of the grade in most other tests, only about 3 or so people beat me consistently. I'm just annoyed at the difficulty of this test. I've never failed a test before, so it's quite a hard hit. Hopefully I'll scrape a pass though :D

.....Omg.... Maths extension... argh. Probably failed, it was so friggin hard... left out like 1/2 of most of the questions, and I still ran out of time. Didn't know how to do most of the questions, especially anything worth more than 1 mark. Geez that whole test was so very very difficult and...

In that case it probably won't be in your test- if you didn't cover the work, it would be pretty hard to do a test about it :P If you DO get the same test as we did, make sure you point out the stuffed multiple choice :D

Yeah i totally get ya, I hate the whole cloudy multiple choice thing. The standard response "Pick the best answer" is just a load of crap in my opinion, plus with multiple choice is just wrong or right, no half marks by justifying your point of view. Oh well, at least they usually only have 1...

Heh as far as quality goes I was happy with mine, except I had to make up an author's name and invent a quote :S I did however, memorise three other quotes (one which took up 3/4 of a page!) and didn't stuff up the other texts, so I shouldnt get too crap a mark for it.

She actually admitted that the question was wrong. Besides if I was wrong she wouldn't have amended the answers would she?

For all those of you who did advanced english, how many pages did you write for Area of Study?

Sadly no, I don't have a past paper. I find the syllabus has basically any question that can be asked of you anyway. My study the night before was so unorganised- I just picked up the excel textbook, flipped open to a random page and started reading. I wasn't in good lightning or good posture...

Did anyone else find the physics yearly easy? I thought it was gonna be really hard, and that I wouldn't be prepared for it at all. Turns out I was really happy with it, and I felt that most other people thought the same thing. I know you probably will all do/have all done a different...
