That was shithouse. I did last years exam and would've gotten like 70-80% in that and today i'm reasoning i've failed. About 42%.....Thats how fucking depressing and hard it was. Nor did i not prepare but it was like reading a f**king essay just to answer the f**cking questions. What the shit...

My whole 8 people in my 3unit class thought it was hard. This was by far the hardest exam in the past 6 years in my opinion. Some parts were OK, but overalll this was fricking ridiculously hard. The probablitiy question in 6 was like a fricking essay. Its maths, why should i have to reaad 10...

Same....I fucked up my 2unit paper. I'm ranked 1st in 2unit and 2nd in 3 unit and i think some 2unit kid whos ranked like 7th beat us all..3 unit students. Just thank that your assessment marks are good even though they're moderated against the exams, it'll still help.

Holy crap. Thats what i did...lol...along with another 20 minutes on other questions and misreading them and having to redo the stupid things. So i wasted like 20 stupid minutes and loss another 10 potential marks i could've gain had i had more time. :burn:

I hear ya. I get home and in 2 minutes discovered the solution to the stupid cone...Damn you cone.... Nah i had to find the distance between CD and then the perpendicular distance from CD to AB. Took ages for 2 marks....But i did get 6.5units ^2.

20 definite marks lost. So i'm thinking... 95-100/120 - 80ish....borderline band 5...hopefully scaled to a band six.

Yeah that question was dodgy. 2 marks and heaps of working out. Should be 3 marker.

Yeah i agree with the comments here. Most of the questions weren't extremely hard./ THey were just a pain in the ass to solve because it involved that many steps for so little marks. For question 3/ just to find the area of triangle ADC, i had to find the perpendicular distance from A to CD...

Yeah i got the two K values but i didn't know the equation had already gotten the curves/ lines merged together. There i skipped it and didn't bother completing and just had the stupid k values. I knew it was going to be an inequality but i thought i had to rewrite the equation for the two...

What did people put about the cylcotron. I've never learnt about such a thing except for it accelerates charged particles and collides em. Whats the AC current for???? Cheers
