    I was wondering if there has been a recent syllabus change for the Russia National Study Elective (like in the last 5 years) because I've seen a couple of past questions that don't appear to fit into the current syllabus, such as questions on the Great Patriotic War.

    No. Of Periods

    I thought 4 unit counted for 2 units in the HSC, so doesn't that mean its technically a 2 unit subject, even though its one unit up from 3 unit?

    We have 8 periods per fortnight, and we've finished complex numbers and are halfway through polynomials. The other Extension 2 Class has 12 periods per fortnight.

    Dot Point Phys Investigations

    I wouldn't use it to study the practicals, or to learn off, but i did use it a lot when studying for the actual exams, because it sticks to the syllabus dot points nicely. It's a good revision tool, but not good to learn the actual material from.

    Does anyone know the approximate raw marks that I would need to obtain to acheive an exam mark of 45 for the HSC for Extension 1 English? I've been getting around 20 or 21 out of 25 from an ex-HSC marker for my essays at the moment and i was wondering if that was good enough.
