    milliondollarhomepage

He's up to $US 359,100 now, and apparently still growing. What an awesome idea, or rather, result, because there was no guarantee that such a scheme would actually work.

how do i get into medicine with uai of 98.7 and umat scores around 45?

Yeah sorry, I misread your intent there. You wrote 'until' twice in your sig.

    Apparant/Absolute Magnitude Confusion

Somewhat late here, but may as well clear it up before the exam. Apparent magnitude = the magnitude of the star, as seen from Earth. Distance from Earth to star is a factor. Absolute magnitude = the magnitude of the star, from 10 pc away. Distance from Earth to star is not a factor...

    Pre-Enrollment for 2006

For MTRX 2700? I think it's because they've changed the names of what used to be MECH 1701/1702/1760 to MTRX.

    Update me on VSU

Actually, no he didn't. Generator is right in that there is no joint Coalition ticket in Queensland. The Liberals used their votes until the end of the count, no preferences from them ever flowed to Joyce. (It was mostly Family First and One Nation that helped him preference-wise.) If you mean...

how do i get into medicine with uai of 98.7 and umat scores around 45?

I thought it was Komal, mainly based on: Or is he LoneShadow?

    Did you vote?

I think that "rather large generalisation" also works both ways. Not supporting the war in Iraq does not mean people condone the actions of Saddam Hussein.

    Luther case study! historians needed

I'm not really sure what's involved in the topic, but make sure you're searching for Protestants, not "Prodistants", if that helps at all.

Contest by Matthew Reilly (Matthew Reilly thread)

It was at Hurstville, maybe it was just that store (20% off all books).

Contest by Matthew Reilly (Matthew Reilly thread)

I bought it this afternoon (the hardcover was $30 from Angus and Robertson, minus a 20% discount to come out at $24, in case anyone's comparing prices) and so far it's enjoyable. Maybe a little heavy on the diagrams and subheadings, but I don't care because If you like Matthew Reilly's...

    SRC elections.

Yes, there's not nearly enough sandstone in the Faculty of Science. Why should those pretentious medicine students and their stupid Anderson Stuart Building have all the fun?

    Off your high horse...

    SRC elections.

I didn't say that. I also didn't get on Council; I think mainly because Labor Students spent the whole time campaigning for Action rather than ourselves. Still happy to see Choice get smashed though, considering how much more effort they put in than Spark (or, for that matter, Go!!!).

    Zero Tolerance or Harm Minimisation?

If it's their own concern, would you send a state-funded ambulance to pick up someone who had reportedly had a (presumably non-lethal) drug overdose?

    ManlyChief is the new Quah.

    SRC elections.

Are you sure about that? Rose said that the Action people on NUS are herself, Nick Wood and Michael Janda (the current SRC Education Officer).

    Did you vote?

This argument was never about Mao specifically, it was about the Chinese Government. Even if Mao had no ideas of his own, and was a complete puppet for Jiang Qing and the rest of the Gang of Four (which I find a bit difficult to believe, considering his strong personality), it does not absolve...

    SRC elections.

But nobody ran a campaign saying "If you don't like VSU, you must vote in these elections, no matter who you vote for." As for Quah's proposal, I think the function of Faculty representation is fairly well carried out by staff-student liaison meetings, and Faculty Boards. The SRC exists for...
