    section 2 question

Wow.... You asked for an opinion. 1) The storyline is taken from not only an already made text, but you were stupid enough to plagiarise a text IN THE EXAM BOOKLET! 2) It sounds like it was written by a child in kindergarten.

    Watcha think of my creative?

I tried to write it in the style that it was the lack of familial contact that drove him to what he was, but I don't think it worked out too well. I'm only expecting/hoping for a 10 or 11. Because I'm hoping for like 13 on the others :)

Do you lose marks for having 2 related texts?

Well, at least I can repeat year 12 if I did THAT badly. And if I still do badly? Again. And if after that I still do badly? Again. And I think maybe one more time but that's it xD.

    are felt tip pens allowed?

It'd be fine, just try avoid pressing so hard that it goes through pages. Although they are pretty thick anyway.

I'm pretty sure that taking the plot of a text that already exists is plagiarism.

    Watcha think of my creative?

I don't remember most of it. I completely improvised it. Here's the plot: Starts off with a man who's brother has just died. Before his brother died he was all happy, lah de dah, belonging to his family and what not. After that, his family slowly starts getting killed off. He sets out on an...

Do you lose marks for having 2 related texts?

Like I said, I didn't read the extra info thoroughly. And guess what? Prescribed + TWO Related qualifies as "variety" too. I didn't say that Prescribed + ONE didn't.. It's not feeling "terrible" it's feeling....uncertain.

Do you lose marks for having 2 related texts?

Ok, for all you twat faced douches, here's the story for people who were like me. We sit down, read the question and off we go. It has been TWO related text for 10 years so why did we have any reason to suspect any change? We didn't have a memorised essay and that's not why we missed it. We...

The Appropriate Length For An Extended Response.

The bored of studies released that a good length for any extended response question (So including those in Paper 2) is 6-8 EXAM BOOKLET PAGES. That is around 3-4 A4 Pages. However they prefer quality over quantity. So if you write 4 exam booklet pages extremely well, you'd get higher than a...

Do you lose marks for having 2 related texts?

Yea, it means I didn't read it properly. However, my essay was really nicely constructed. I was proud. If it weren't for the 2 texts, I honestly think I'd be looking at 14 or 15.

Do you lose marks for having 2 related texts?

I didn't actually memorize my essay, but I accidentally did two texts. I didn't realize it said one. Dx. EDIT: "Understanding nourishes belonging. A lack of understanding prevents it" was the quote.

    Section 3 - Extended Response

I think that was the point. My set texts were Peter Skrzynecki poems. My related texts were To Kill a Mockingbird and We Are Australian. I did To Kill a Mockingbird First and it was A LOT better than my second. They'll mark that, right?

    Section 3 - Extended Response

CRAP. I wrote about two. I did my WAYYY better one first. A full page and a half on just that one text, my other was half a page. Hopefully they'll mark the first one? I was very happy with my essay. 5 and a bit pages :). My texts all fit perfectly, haha.
