Per hour? $40 is a bit much for someone with no experience at all. Surprised you put up options all the way to 60+ but no $20 or less than that.
I've just started off with $20 an hour. That tutor of yours must be very sure of him/herself that they can take you to the top, if you're paying...

If you need D's and HD's then you might consider taking adv level units. You'd probably have to kill normal to get HD's or D's.
well 1005/1905 is required if you want to do second year stats. Theres also math2069/2969 discrete maths and graph theory whihc overlaps most of math1004/1904 so you can do that in second year if you want. But either way, just choose one.
Hmm, maybe it'd be more accurate if I said to get really high marks. It's damn hard to get really high marks in normal (some seem to be capped) unless you get close to a full raw mark.
Actually (0,0) isn't an absolute minimum. f(x) = 0 when x = 1/(2kpi), where k is a nonzero integer, thus there are an infinite number of minima, since f(x) => 0 for all x.
On the form you get to put your subs in, you write both the code and the subject name.
The available subjects are listed in the Faculty of Science handbook: http://www.usyd.edu.au/handbooks/science/03_undergradunits.shtml
catgirl: So what would you be choosing?
Haha, chem still invited me to ssp even though I got a distinction. Stuff that, you can take my chem ssp spot if you want Templar.
