After 2011-13 Year 11-12 subjects will look like this:

+1 It's in its early stages but already it needs some serious reworking to integrate the intermediate skills. The people behind this will need to rethink. Calculus. They start learning calculus at 13. lol, "specialist" and "methods" - wankerish much.

After 2011-13 Year 11-12 subjects will look like this:

I'm concerned about that gap too; since the 'Specialist' course has a fair bit of very very basic content from Methods. Problem is that Specialist (I hate that name) throws the kids into the deep end of the topic, cutting out the intermediate skills; there's no clear development of the higher...

:O wow! I thought she'd never get anywhere! On one of Henin's preferred surfaces too. If anything, I think Stosur has potential to seriously ruffle Serena's feathers in the next round. Andy Murray was a shock elimination for me. I thought he'd be up in the semis or final.

+1 hahaha, the conics in there is cake! Found the time to look at the Methods draft: Seems an acceptable mix of 2u & 3u maths. Algebra and calculus components are ridiculously easy. Shameful binomials and physical applications of calculus; not much room for 'conceptual/critical thinking'...

After 2011-13 Year 11-12 subjects will look like this:

Had a good browse through the Specialist proposal, and I think it's much, much easier than 4u. Seems more geared towards uni with the mathematical proofs, recurrence relations (these 2 changes will be interesting), stats, and calculus. The matrices topic is pitiful, ie uni maths, but the...

Not being able to fill in a CATEI/evaluation form for MGMT1001 online. Instead it was given during the lecture. Couldn't give a proper opinion of the course. Stupid collectors were reading your answers as you friggin handed it on. It was bloody un-fucking-comfortable. Same here. I edited my...

Is this the complete description of Belonging as set by the Board?

Tbh, there's some board of studies rule against teachers giving thorough feedback, it's only meant to be a vague "this is good" as opposed to: "this will get you about a B+, but this is what you need to change to land an A." Teachers aren't meant to give you a mark for draft essays, and...
