i dun get it; so you guys got to choose what you did?

i had a choice to have a scribe; but i insisted on typing because of the fact that the scribe would be painfully slow and from year 9 or 10. ok sure, maybe typing is better than writing.. but with the experience i went through, the advantages weighed out the disadvantages at the end.

the extended response is usually cross-topics. our teachers are always going on about knowing the syllabus. so if u do a report format, you could use the syllabus headings as the report headings/sub headings headings and then BS underneath that. :) that usually gets SOME marks.. hehe

it's usually the last day of term 3, and that's 27th September for state schools. 32 days of school left!! :D

isn't the truman show used for standard english? or as a text in another module/branch of english? i was going to use that but our teachers advised us not too.
