    Possible band 6?

trolling or what there will most likely be more b6s if there’s accel kids, they’re adding a new pool of kids in the year below without removing anyone from your yeargroup so should add at least like 10-20 b6s

What are your thoughts on the NSW education system?

I think that “rural” should be discriminated more, there is a big difference in disadvantage between someone coming from Wilcania and someone coming from Dubbo

WHY DO PEOPLE CRY ABOUT UNSW TRIMESTERS

yeah it’s def not excessive work even for a 90 wam but nonetheless you’re still going through 3 exam periods and whole terms where realistically you probably didn’t study enough during the term versus 2 at usyd, even if u have less subjects it’s still a lot. also they have short breaks at...

how much can u work as a uni full time student??

depends a lot on your degree, social life and mark goals. if u minimised all of those you could probably work full time, but you’ll be miserable, whereas if u want to have a good social life and hd marks in a stem degree I wouldn’t work more than 10 hours a week

    Year 12 Attendance

your school will probably try to threaten you with a requirement but they don’t really actually follow through

is doing a masters degree worth it?

at usyd at least for the b sci/m maths you reduce the bsc base requirements I think but also the bsc requirements are pretty tokenistic anyway it’s just 2 maths units and 2 non-maths science units including majors. you also save half a year on the masters though
