- There are lots of wireless blackspots in Bld 5.
- How the UTS Business Connection (UTSBC) is so badly mismanaged.
- They collect student feedback surveys, and even when there is a general concensus of major problems in subjects (time and time again) - nothing gets done (e.g. Management...

Yes there are lots already. I would say this is the best one: http://community.boredofstudies.org/showthread.php?t=145465

Re: The UTS 'Get Naked and Secks' Thread
The timetable was released on Monday: https://mysubjects.uts.edu.au/aplus2009/aptimetable
As Joe said, summer generally lasts from the beginning of December to the end of January. Mid-sems and Finals - just like what it is like in Autumn and Spring.
Re: The UTS 'Get Naked and Secks' Thread
I would assume this is the same for all other faculties:
When do I lodge my application?
1st round - 28th Oct (10.00am) to 7th Nov 2008 (5.00pm)
2nd round - 25th Nov (10.00am) to 27th Nov 2008 (5.00pm)
3rd round – 19th Dec (10.00am) to 22nd Nov...
Re: The UTS 'Get Naked and Secks' Thread
Yeah, Financial Statement Analysis is there.
The Taxation Law timetable looks way better than FSA though.
Not sure if I could concentrate for 7hrs, for three straight days (twice).
Re: The UTS 'Get Naked and Secks' Thread
Looking at the timetable from last year (summer timetables won't be uploaded until Monday 20th Oct), it looks like FSA is 6 days (7 hours per day). Sounds hectic to me, although I only plan to do one subject, so that is all that I will have in my...
If you are aiming to become a computer programmer, I would recommend the straight BScIT course. You have the choice to either do two IT majors, or one IT major and two sub-majors/electives (in which you could do a sub-major in Computer Animation and Graphics).
If you also have that interest...
Re: The UTS 'Get Naked and Secks' Thread
Yeah, I'm planning on doing 1 subject too.
Probably Financial Statement Analysis (part of the accounting major).
I think anything to make my last year of uni (next year) more relaxing would be awesome. Also, I could work more than my current one...
No, there isn't unfortunately.
The BBus/BScIT course only allows you to select 4 majors which are listed here: http://handbook.uts.edu.au/directory/cbk90781.html
To select submajors, you would have to select the straight BScIT course.
Is there a reason why you want to do Business too...
I'm not quite sure what they look for in mature age applications, but you can try contacting the UTS student centre: http://www.sau.uts.edu.au/contact.html
They should be able to address your question.
Most if not all of your Internal Course Transfer application will be based on your university average, so don't fail.
Transferring depends on the demand of the course (Journalism). As I come from a Business/Computing degree, some of my friends transferred to the straight Business degree...
Re: UTS - Provisional Spring 2008 Final Exam Timetable (Out Now!)
If you do business, most of them will give you a stuvac.
But, that is because a high percentage of business finals are near the beginning to middle of the exam period (with some exceptions).
Re: The UTS 'Get Naked, Secks and It's nearly VC Week!' Thread
I couldn't say.. all of them I guess?
Chris should give you some hints in the last lecture, otherwise if you cannot wait, check out my post in the EFB thread which has a sample final exam paper...
Re: The UTS 'Get Naked, Secks and It's nearly VC Week!' Thread
I must be the opposite- didn't do too well in HSC Economics, but ended up with a HD for EFB =)
Not sure where malfoy is nowdays..
