Does anyone know about how you are assessed during the partner interview???
For mine it was informal and 70% of the time the partner was talking, with most of the discussion being about life in general.
Any other thoughts??
Anybody yet heard back from KPMG Melbourne regarding vacation work in audit and assurance?
Also anybody heard back from Ernst and Young Melbourne regarding vacation work in audit and assurance?
Cheers
Three interviews on the one day sounds like a gruelling process. I hope they gave you a break to relax cos I'd find what whole day (Interviews, Group Task, Written Exercise) incredibly draining.
That might be how they're doing it in Sydney, but I think for the Melbourne firm they are splitting it into two stages:
1. Assessment Day - Written Task / Interview with Senior Manager / Group Task
2. Follow up interview with Partner
What was the process for you guys in Sydney?
I felt put in a good performance on the day, but made a few slip ups. Those will probably cost me, but feel better that I didn't make them in the mid-tier interviews coming up.
The free feed at lunch was great too. Probably had about 4-5 cokes that day alone.
I felt the culture at KPMG was...
Well Done, I found the ppl at the group interview at KPMG were friendly, cooperative, positive, and team orientated.
Looks like it could be a great place to work. Could you tell me what the next stage is after assessment day?
Cheers

Fair enough, I get ya. Had my group assessment yesterday (Wednesday) and am guessing if I don't here back from them by tommorrow (Friday) that I didn't make the cut.
All the best with getting a vacation work spot!!
I applied to 3 out of the Big 4: Deloitte, KPMG, and Ernst and Young
Got past the application stage with all three and have had group interviews for Deloitte and KPMG so far, with Ernst and Young next week.
Had a group interview with Deloite, and performed pretty badly and did not get...
