Dont waste too much money on textbooks. You never end up using them.
If i had my time again i would just buy a math textbook, and for chem and physics i would just borrow textbooks from my school or local library.
Oh well. Lesson learned for uni i guess. :o
This advice may not be suitable...
First of all if you dont do well in HSC, you still can do well for the rest of your life.
Now, naturally losing interest happens when you don't do well normally. I mean you can drop 1 subject, so just drop the one which you hate the most. And just try your best in others.
Repeating is not...
This is something people actually told me about but i ignored it anyway :( .
Your health is so important in year 12. Please sleep on time, exercise and go out with friends to enjoy yourself. You need to be balanced throughout the year.
Adding to what 1039213, how useful and helpful is other subjects apart from HSC Maths units, such as HSC physics & chem for example? Do you have to memorise a lot of info in UNI like it is in HSC physics?
I go to a catholic school, and pay thousands for a shitty education with shitty teachers tbh :( . Only the math department in my school is superb. Although I know there are better catholic schools like parramatta marist.
They should lower the amount of fully selective schools and turn them into partially selective schools...and also make other public schools into partially selective. Make like the top 5-6 or so fully selective like Ruse, Sydney boys, baulko, conservatorium, fort street. Make all the other ones...
But would you choose the UTS engineering over the same degree at another uni but without the 1 year internship? like for example in comparison to software engineering at USYD?
Hi, Im currently in year 12 and was looking at UTS engineering program. UTS students are given a 1 year internship and was wondering if this internship is worth it or not?
Thank You.
