I'd be more worried about your english and extension math ruining your atar ... I'm by no way saying you cannot ever achieve above 90 .. I am saying, if everyone remains constant, and you don't improve, then I highly doubt you will.
Why? 53 people got over 90 last year. He's not that greatly ranked, to me suggesting a lot of others ( >53 people) would already be ahead of him, for the likelihood of achieving 90
I'm aware a pretty large number of kids get over 90 .. Yet he's got average ranks, at an average school .. In my opinion an equal number of kids who obtain over 90 state wide, would be ahead of him.. Thus leaving him with an atar below 90

I wouldn't give too much weight to my schools estimate either. But considering it's on par with multiple other estimates, I see no reason why I shouldn't acknowledge it.
I never stated my opinion holds more weight. In fact, everyone here in my opinion is stating mine holds less than theirs.

My school has many hsc markers, so I doubt marking criteria is easy .. especially seeing as though I was in some instances 60% above the average in my exams ..
So I should prove my ranks to those whom clearly have no idea how to give an estimate? For some reason I don't feel entitled to do so. I wonder why ...
By high 90's, my lowest subject has an internal percentage of 96 .. So I'd say my atar estimate is correct, if not somewhat lower than what I...
