I heard it will be socially impossible, and there's no point because you got to accustom to that school's way of learning and it's teachers, which will take too long and by the time that happens your HSC would have already been completed. I'd say not to take the risk.
I wouldnt recommend Genny maths, swap it for something else, but if you don't like Maths don't choose Advanced just choose another subject instead of picking Genny Maths
Well using your same method I got 5:43
Let total be 1000ml
250:750 = 1:3
1000:1400 = 5:7
To calculate how much water there is we know that 750ml of that original 1000ml is water, plus add another 1400ml of water so a total of 2150 ML
There is 250 grams of sugar in the solution so 250:2150...
I guess it's the best way to do it, molding it with the question, I do that for my exams too . How has the English syllabus changed though, is it harder? English is such a weak subject for me.
1/4 times 5/12 = 5/48 (that's how much sugar there is )
the rest is water so 43 (48-5)
I think the answer is 5:43
uh i think i got this wrong though, but i guess this is my quick attempt
edit : its right somehow ;)
I remember when I did it , it literally reached down to 60-70th Reserve (2015 Selective test), this is for Penrith I'm talking about. I was like 40th reserve but we cancelled it because we thought 40 was just a silly number and I would never get in. Boy I was sad when I heard my friend who was...
My school USED to have that but they removed it because people were getting offended. It's so frustrating telling my mum that the whole grade got Sound for maths but i still came first
My advice is try your best to get in but if you don't it's all good Rank 170 ain't too bad. This guy from my school got a 99.30 ATAR and it's a very low rank school, he avoided all the junkies, he self taught himself literally everything, I literally saw that guy in the front of the school...
