Ha, it seems like my store just keeps on hiring and hiring. Many of us casuals are just getting 1-2 shifts a week which is really sad to see since I love work so much.
It's driving me mental. I like the new radio and all these new songs are a njce change but every hour or so that song plays and it's getting pretty annoying.
Go to WowCareers (just google it if you don't have the link) and you'll be able to check your roster online through there. It's suggested that you check the physical roster in store though since that one is much more reliable. Login to WowCareers using your Google+ accpunt which your store...
Got my first shift in Groceries tomorrow. Anyone got any tips or remotely helpful tricks/hints they could lend me? Literally never even used a roll cage before so I'm sorta nervous. The only experience I've had packing shelves involved me slicing close to 20 bags of lollies open while opening a...
Hopefully it's rolled out ASAP. My supervisor was barely paid for her 38 she worked so that really sucks for her. I only lost out on $13 but I'd love to have that back haha
It bloody boils my piss when people leave their baskets full of stuff on the belt. Usually I just ask them to unpack it for me. I'm getting paid to scan items, not unload baskets. Should be common courtesy to unload baskets then place them under the register. Just hit the customer with a "Hey...

Sorry for all the questions recently, but how what should I be looking out for when put on self checkout? I know I should definitely be looking out for people who try and take things and also clear baskets as well as helping people out/pricechecks. Also how would I go about approaching people...
Ah bugger I asked my Supervisor and she said I can go for it and work for two stores but she doesn't really like it. I'm gonna decide to not work for 2 stores cause she's a lovely person and I don't really wanna inconvenience her. Plus, running a store must be hard and I don't wanna add anymore...
Does anyone know if I would be allowed to work in two stores? The one I currently work at is close to school and great for after school shifts and good for weekend shifts but it's very rare that I get after school shifts apart from a Friday one every so often.
There's a small Woolworths Metro...
I was in a similar boat a few months ago. A lady had lost her wallet and was having a pretty bad day so I offered to cover her bill which was around $20 or so and I was in a good mood. I offered and she refused so I just saved the transaction and then moved on with my day and she eventually got...
