Basically just a group of elite private universities in the U.S, including Harvard, Pennsylvania,Yale etc which im dominate the worldwide universtiy rankings.
Wow thanks for your input.
That said i ended up accepting the offer and enrolled today(i kept on changing my mind back and fourth) and was fairly satisfied as some stuff kind of overlaps anyway.
I'm still enrolled in both courses so i have to drop one soon, so i guess i still have *some* time to...
I honestly have no idea what to choose. I've accepted my first round offer for B.Health Science @ usyd(with the intent of possibly going into radiation therapy or something) but also received an offer for B.Science(at usyd also).
For Science i was considering majoring in something like...
Soso i heard that apparrently other unis have big social events like autonomy day(newcastle) and conception day(mq) so just wondering; does usyd has anything big like this?
whats the social life like here?
no fucking shit sherlock.
My point was that enrolment day was pretty much a waste of time(long and boring), and that the university should adapt to the changing world and technology like other universities have(like online enrolling)
I was there today.
It was long and boring.
Go in, fill in afew forms, line up, hand in HECS form, line up again, finalise enrolment, then line up again to take your photo.
Enrolment day. I don't understand why we have to go there in person just to fill in a few damn forms, when most of the info can just be sent online(ala UNSW)
Re: them cityrail moments
The actual difference though is ours really is shit.
Not only that, expensive. I was talking to a relative over in brisvegas and even he laughed at our shitty "non-integrated ticketing/transport system" (well i guess it is kind of, now atleast) and our bullshit prices...
apparrently year 1 is at main campus, and 2 and 3 is at cumberland.
Though if you do second major in french then you'll probably have some classes at main campus.
