So basically if they are worth 30 - 40% approx, then your other assessments don't really have that much of an weighting? Because the other 50% of your atar is worth from the final end of year exam.

The answer from the marking centre is apparently 58%. But I don't understand how the total can be counted to the people aged under 40 and people aged over 40. That...
I heard people say it's 40%. Is that true or does it depend on the school? Also, does that mean that only 10% of your internal assessments; exams, assignments, etc go towards the ATAR because I know the remaining 50% is from the exam at the end of the year.
I'm not a "troll." I am just a Year 10 student who wants to know, and yes I have met people who told me that if you can't go to UNI, then you like can't get a job.
Do you have to go to TAFE and get into UNI from there or are you over educational wise?
Does that mean you have to work as a garbage collector or something or not work at all?
I just want to get into something like Bachelor of Arts and UWS offers that course for an atar of about 70, so that's where I plan to go for now. I don't have high expectations for myself, don't want to get into stuff like medicine/engineering or law or commerce or any of that.

I'm only in Yr 10 so I haven't done the course yet, but this is just a broad guess. Correct...
I wish they would do that. I wish they would give you tests to do at home and hand it in the following day, lol, never going to happen though because it's cheating obviously.
