currently do :
Eng Adv, MX2, Physics, Software design
Wish to have done:
Eng Adv, MX2, Physics, Chemistry, Cosmology
and possibly engineering if the workload didnt get too high
this is so true for me
in physics, i struggle to write down the notes and listen to what the teacher is explaining at the same time, this guy with a laptop ends up typing up the notes like 5x faster than i write and just listens to the teacher for the rest of the time
just disable internet, or...
Student A: 90, (top rank student in internals gets highest external as scaled internal)
Student B: 60, (this is done so the mean of the scaled internals = mean of externals)
this is only because there are 2 students, from scaling of internal raw to internal scaled, the mean and standard...
what is a "sufficient" amount of extra curriclar activites u need to do to have a chance at this kind of stuff? anyone willing to provide an example of the stuff they've put down?
Electrical engineering, physics and computer science
All of it was great
USYD, is this what i really want...? i think i'd rather still stay in school...
UNSW, OMG I CAN'T WAIT FOR UNI
Usually the algorithm questions arn't that difficult as they have to cater for the entire candidature, usully it will come down to either:
Writing an algorithm:
The insertion of a piece of data in a sorted array in its right position
A variation or something similar of the standard sorts...
Bit hard to find summaried notes on SDD, probably best if u get the samuel davids textbook and scim over the intros of each topic, its a good book as it has all the syllabus points as headings and splits up into an intro + detail + example.
MAKE SURE U KNOW UR ALGORITHMS! algorithms are the...
problem is, the ATAR requirement for combined degree is lower than some of the singular engineering degrees, what if they accept me cause i just managed to get the combined, then they find i didn't make it for the one i actually want
just wondering how do u apply for a double degree?
i got as far as putting up the degree B science / B engineering
but what i'm not sure is how they know which engineering i'm applying for from that selection
